eSIM Purchase and Activation Terms
Version 2026-09-19 · Effective 19 September 2026
1. What you are buying
A Merofly eSIM is a digital mobile-data package for a stated destination, allowance and validity period, delivered electronically by SPACE AI TECHNOLOGY UK LTD (company number 15446027, registered office 142-143 Parrock Street, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 1EY, United Kingdom). You are buying a data package from Merofly; Merofly is not a mobile network operator and is not the same company as any supplier or network we work with.
2. Device eligibility is confirmed before payment
Before checkout you must select your device model from the verified compatibility list and confirm that the device supports eSIM and is not network-locked. If the details you confirm are inaccurate, the eSIM may not install or connect, and that is not a fault in the service.
3. Buying for another traveller
You may buy an eSIM for someone else. You must have that person's permission to give us their email address and device model, and you must be able to pass on the delivery details to them. We use those details only to check compatibility, issue the eSIM and support installation.
4. Delivery
Delivery is electronic. Once payment succeeds and the eSIM is issued, installation details are made available in the recipient's private Merofly installation page and the delivery email. Keep installation details private: they can usually be installed only once.
5. Activation is package-specific
Activation depends on the package you buy, and the activation rule for your package is shown before you pay. Depending on the package, validity can start when the eSIM profile is installed on the device, when the device first connects to a supported network at the destination, or on another supplier or package event disclosed to you before purchase. Merofly does not promise that every package activates only on first network connection.
- Installation-triggered packages start their validity period as soon as the profile is installed.
- Connection-triggered packages start when the device first registers on a supported network.
- Some packages start on a supplier-defined event, such as first data session or a fixed start date.
- The rule that applies to your package is stated on the plan and in your confirmation.
6. Allowance, validity and coverage
The allowance and validity shown at purchase are the limits of the package. Coverage, speed and available network technology depend on the local networks our connectivity suppliers use at the destination and are not guaranteed at any specific level. Data that remains unused when validity expires is lost unless the package terms say otherwise.
7. Top-ups
Some packages can be topped up, and some cannot. Where a top-up is available it is shown in My eSIM. A top-up is a separate purchase with its own allowance, validity and activation rule.
8. Prices, currency and taxes
The price, currency and any tax are confirmed on screen before payment. Payment is taken by Stripe. Merofly does not store your full card details.
9. Refunds
Because an eSIM is digital content supplied immediately, refund eligibility depends on whether the eSIM has been installed or used, and on applicable consumer law. The Refund and Cancellation Policy applies in full and forms part of these terms.
10. Support and faults
If your eSIM does not install or connect, contact support@merofly.com with your order reference before buying a replacement. Where a package is genuinely faulty and cannot be made to work, we will remedy, replace or refund it as required by law.
11. Suspension and misuse
We may suspend or cancel an eSIM where we reasonably believe there is fraud, payment abuse, resale outside an approved partner arrangement or breach of the Fair Use or Acceptable Use Policies.
